The rain fell all day. In the afternoon, I drove from my office to the surgeon's office. I was pleased with what I learned. I felt relief. Time will tell the extent to which the low potassium issue is solved. I continue to heal. I spoke with my dad by phone about the report. Then my wife returned my call and I filled her in. My wife had a meeting tonight. I stopped at the Market Street market and ate turkey pot roast. Then I came home and played with the dogs. I watched the national championship football game on television. I like the language of pathology reports.

"Benign" is such a good word to hear--one of the best there is.

I am relieved for you.

Thanks. Now we're down to the pragmatic stuff like figuring out if what we did solved the problem, or if there is another problem.

Thanks. I expected the result benign, but it was nonetheless a huge relief to hear that result.
