I have no real gift for sequencing percussion, but if I avoided all things for which I have no real gift, I'd just read books in large print.

Same here. Sometimes it's fun to do things you're not really good at though. The lack of pressure for success makes it much easier to enjoy something.

I feel the same way. it's fun to have the liberation of "no pressure".
