I've one more week to go on my "soft food" regimen. I've eaten scrambled eggs regularly for the first time in years. I like scrambled eggs, and probably would like green eggs and ham, too.

My friend Greg came over tonight with his guitar. I recorded a guitar sample, put it in a synthesizer, and showed him how I sequence samples to create songs. In turn, he played "Red Haired Boy" and "Dust in the Wind". Prior to playing around with music, we went to Market Street for a bite to eat. The acorn squash on my vegetable plate was wonderful. My wife came home around 8.30 p.m., and we all talked of this and that until Greg had to leave to go back to Greenville (a town an hour away, where he is staying during his business trip).

I'm planning a trip to the islands at year's end.

still deciding--maybe the bahamas, maybe statia, maybe the caymans, maybe one of the ABC. So many interesting choices!
mostly want good snorkeling and some hiking with birds and relative safety.

I've spent a LOT of time on the Cook Islands. My husband and I traveled there for 1 month stays and we did this 12 years in a row. It became a second home. If it's not to far to fly for you and your wife, consider it.

I've always wanted to visit them, but it's a bit further than we'll go this trip. I'm glad you got to go for 1 month stays for 12 years in a row. That's great.
