Sometimes a few feathers get slightly soaked, and one must apply some internal steam dry apparatus, and shiver a bit, as if molting. It is very important not to get doused inside. The last thing anyone needs is help from a wet duck. I like being a largely desert-like mallard, but sometimes a trace of monsoon does ruffle the feathers.
