island plan and tortellini
Oct. 5th, 2016 08:22 pmOn Tuesday I ate Kix Cereal with skim milk, a lunch at Potbelly's of a T-K-Y, garden vegetable soup, and baked chips, and a dinner of pasta shells, chicken and squash.
I walked in Oak Point Park in Plano, where I looked at the grassy fields in the dusk. I saw a little boy being pulled in a wagon, who stared in awe at a passing little white dog who looked like it had just emerged from the park lake.
I answered an email from my cousin, letting him know we would attend a memorial service in Galveston next month. I looked up the flight for business travel next month.
We watched the vice presidential debate. We oppose Governor Pence's positions. I liked that a day later a video came out that showed that he had said x and then the opposite of x turned out to be true.
I fell asleep at midnight, which is not that late, but felt late. I got up this morning. I renewed my auto registration on-line, which proved easy. For lunch, I walked in Heritage Park, where I saw migrating Scissor-Tailed Flycatchers. I walked in Allen Station Park in Allen on my way home, where I saw more Scissor-Tailed Flycatchers, an American Kestrel, a Carolina Chickadee, Northern Mockingbirds and American Crows.
We ate mixed cheese tortellini with broccoli and carrots for dinner. Then we settled down to watch "Modern Family" on television. I must wake up early tomorrow to take a train to downtown Dallas.
