The Florida trip photos came back yesterday.
As always, the underwater pictures fall far short
of the actual experience underwater, but a few
of the coral shots really work well. The shots of wildlife at the Everglades look really good.
Throwaway cameras don't let you do a lot of things you can do with better cameras, but some things can be done more easily on throwaways. Sunsets, for example, almost always work well on throaways, without the need for filters or camera adjustment.
I have some beautiful shots of the sun heading down through clouds, against a foreground of ocean and boats at sea. It's like a dream, but we lived the dream.

Will you be able to scan in your photos and display them in your journal? I would love to see your photos mentioned in your entry!

I've never owned a scanner, but I suppose I could use this as a catalyst for the purchase of a simple low tech scanner. I typically believe a word is worth 10,000 pics, particularly with my camera skills, but it might be fun!

Now if I could only figure out how to make my bitmap
drawings to convert to gif without getting my brother the computer guy to do it for me.
