Today we drove up to Camden, Arkansas, where I finished my last two grades of high school, and where my father and his wife still live. We enjoy visiting with my father and his wife. For some Saturday exercise, I walked to the Ouachita Riverfront Access Park, about 20 minutes away.
There was an interesting sign recapping how the boat landing played a sad part in the Choctaw Trail of Tears. I saw bluebirds, butterflies and crows at the park, as well as lots of wild daisies. On the way home, a train crossed my path.
