I rose early to attend the 8:15 a.m. church service, in which the minister took the temptation scene in Genesis and made a nice sermon about how people tend to avoid taking responsibility. Then I drove to pick a friend for a trip to the Dallas Arboretum. During my drive, I passed yellow fields of the wildflower ragwort, and listened to a very nice ambient album by the artist Red Sun Soundroom.

Though the clouds above foreboded rain, the foreboding never yielded to actual rain. We walked for a goodish while amid blooms, mockingbirds, butterflies and little replica pioneer cottages.

Everywhere we saw parents photographing young children, and brides-to-be and various other romantic personnel being photographed amid the colorful flowers.

We then drove to Good Records in lower Greenville. I got a live Penguin Cafe Orchestra album I found very much to my liking.
We then drove to Best Seafood in Plano, which served us a very good Chinese buffet.

After I dropped my friend off at his home, I came home, did some laundry, folded some past laundry, watched the Andy Griffith Show (the Ernest T. Tubbs initial episode), watched Masterpiece Mystery (the WW II detective series [Foyle]), and downloaded some free VST synthesizers I located through KVR audio.
