Sleep matters to me. When I don't sleep, I feel like this. I must remember this, the next time I'm awake all night.

I better go for a walk to shake this off, and see if I can see a butterfly or a bird or two. I'll stay in the local neighborhood. It's hot as blazes! But I will get rested again.

it's only half-blazes!
it's already 95° here,
only 40 mins after your post.

right you are, sir. we were only at 86 when I posted, and it's a mere 91 now.

But it's still hot :).

I saw a good bit. Swallows, scissortail flycatchers, sulphur butterflies, green dragon flies, blue damselflies, and an orange 8 winged thing that looked like a cross between a dragonfly and a wasp. Tons of mosquito fish, swimming among the algae. Gorgeous.

It's been so cold here we're still using the down comforter at night! I'm not complaining though--even though it's unseasonal, it's better than a heat blast. My sympathies.

Our weather is quite variable now, too. We had cool weather this morning, but it heated up in time for me to mow the lawn.

I'm much more rested now. I have to remember I can't have much caffeine at night.

Sleep is so essential! I'm glad you're feeling better, at least in the rest department.

"Fatigue makes cowards of us all."

Insomnia is one of my closest friends.

Friday afternoon we had hail, rain, snow,
then more hail, all within two hours!
