Pear trees in bloom

Bradford white flowers everywhere, sometimes a pink flower or two, in parking lots and suburban lawns and even, a bit invasive, in the fields of otherwise brown grasses and leafless trees.
A moment in time, then they will be gone....

Bradford pear trees may look nice, but don't get too close or you'll get a whiff of something putrid. Mother nature has her quirks too.

Good point. I haven't gotten close to one lately, but now next one I see I'll have to check out the scent.
