day late

I arrived late early this morning at the dentist's office, but things there otherwise went well. My wife got into a rear-end collision today, but fortunately the car that rear-ended her car caused some property damage rather than drastic, or, so far as we know, any apparent personal injury. I was relieved that she was okay. The work day passed vigorously but without any troubling incidents. At day's end I watched the scissor-tailed flycatchers atop a huge tree.

oh goodness. I hope that's not the same car that just had all the work done on it. I'm also thankful she wasn't hurt. Those sorts of accidents
can be frightening.

It was our other car, and the damage is palpable but it looks fixable. I think what made this one a bit more annoying than usual was the other driver, but it sounds like my wife handled it all with grace.
