I love the internet
Oct. 14th, 2002 11:43 amIn the old days, when one had a moment at lunch hour, one could only read a book or newspaper, play an imaginary chess game, or simply daydream.
Now, with an extra few moments, I can place the winning bid on a plastic didjeridoo and post a message over at hypnos.com asking about good instruction books for beginners.
A didjeridoo can't be hard to learn, for someone who already knows how to play music on electric football fields.

We have all enjoyed our kazoos by the way. Right up there with the whoopee cushion.

Date: 2002-10-14 02:45 pm (UTC)I have the deepest respect for the truly musical, but I like things like kazoos that democratize music.
Kazoos are part of a family of instruments called mirlitons. I was just thinking today that I should switch to "all kazoos" and cut an album about Merliton the Wizard--sort of like Yes and Uriah Heep, for kazoos.
