mockingbird and starling
Sep. 24th, 2012 11:12 pmThis morning I found that my AOL and Yahoo e-mail had been hacked during the previous evening. The e-mail sent log shows that between 3 and 4 a.m., a spambot began sending e-mails containing just the links to all and sundry. When I woke up at 6, I had to change everything to regain control, but I think I have regained it now. This morning a neighbor's dog barked at Beatrice a bit as we walked past. Beatrice, not the most social of dogs when it comes to other dogs (she prefers people, oddly) kept her cool. She let out two little yips and walked on. To get her ya ya's out, she suggested we pick up the pace a bit. We saw a mockingbird and a starling atop a tree. Also, the male ducks have finished their molting and gone from brown to resplendent colors like mallard green.
. When two young squirrels chased one another on the trunk of a tree, Beatrice was sure we could catch one or two. But I thought we might pursue other adventures.

That problem continued for a while even after I'd changed my password, though it stopped after I changed the password and other account info a couple more times.
