I am about to head to my office to type documents, organize my desk and other needful things not reached during the week. I've just been loitering at [personal profile] marstokyo's really cool art website . [personal profile] marstokyo does these really imaginative "miniature theaters", 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches high. By my count, there are now several dozen photos of the theaters at the site. They're so "right", somehow, that I thought I'd mention them for the benefit of anyone on my friends' list that has not tripped across them yet.

Late this afternoon, friends are picking me up to take me to the remastered movie Amadeus. I didn't see it in the theaters the first time, and have only seen snippets on cable, so I'm looking forward to it. I finally got a good night's rest last night. Those International House of Pancakes pancakes with the blueberry syrup might have some restorative effect.

I must get some exercise this afternoon. I must get work done today. must. get. work. done. grrr.

I'm not one to long to be places other than I am, but if I were choosing a place to take a walk, a May or June walk in the Kentucky rolling hills would really appeal to me. I hope you have a great place to walk and a great time.

I love that LJ has introduced me to so many interesting people, you most definitely included.
Take care, and make your spousal unit listen to MCLE tapes (grin)!

yes, i am a fan of marstokyo's mini theatres

they are exquisite

hope you enjoy Amadeus, i loved it the first time around and would be glad to sit through it again. remastered, eh?

i'm off to be teacher in the lovely rolling hills of Santa Ysabel but fear it's drizzling and the outdoor setting will have to all be arranged

hope they take care of it before i even get there

don't like messing with all those details

you be ready, i'll show up with all my goods and teach

enjoy your walk and tell me about the wildlife later please!

Cool. You teach art? That would be fun.
I wish I could take a course in how to draw.
I saw in [profile] nacowafer a reference to wishing to go to a really cool arts school in NC for three months. I'm still at the place where I'd like to be able to draw something that doesn't look like Gumby drew it. I don't have time for community college courses or the like, so I guess I'll have to look on line. Or maybe write that company that
runs the ads on TV ("YOU can be an artist").

I am so pleased you wrote me that letter. It really did "fit" with what we are discussing, isn't that right (I'm trying to break the "n'est ce pas" and "je ne sais quoit" habit)?
