I hope you enjoy my state. I'll be here too, but not in Sanibel Island. I'm in Tampa of course. Let me be the first to WELCOME you though!

Thanks! Someday I want to visit Tampa. Also, I have relatives in another region, near Jacksonville. I was amazed to read in the Mobil guide how big Jax has gotten now.

wow ... and you have a lot of readers of your journal too.

What a cool idea.

It'll be fun to shell out some shells. Now let's hope I find a few!

Ooh! Please & thank you!

hugs

Will do!

That's a most generous offer. I'm originally from New York City (Staten Island beach for some years) and now in West Virginia. I miss the ocean, and what with moving so often I don't think I have a single sea shell left. So thank you! I did put my name and address in the box, but please don't bother if you get overwhelmed with requests. And have a great trip. I've enjoyed your posts though I haven't commented much.

Glad to provide the call of the sea. I enjoy your journal, too, though I don't comment as often as I should.

I have shells from (Old South) Wales and New South Wales. If I have Floridian shells to add to my collection, that certainly wouldn't be a bad thing. Thanks for your show of generosity. Much appreciated, oh my.

I also want to send some mint julep tea. I have been running behind on my mailings!

[identity profile] bluebellrock.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 01:02 pm (UTC)(link)
I saw a rerun of Queer Eye where this guy made mint juleps for his girlfriend! I'm still on the look-out for just the right pamphletia to send you concerning Australian wildlife and/or wild plantlife...!

Wow...most unintentionally depressing post ever. My ex-GF, who left me in 2002, lives right near there. If she hadn't left me, I'd live there too and she and I would be married now. Looking for shells together is another thing that I'll never get to do with her.

Wow! That is depressing. I hope you find other traditions and other shells to look for as time goes by.
