My dad taught my brother and I the rudiments of chess when we were young, so if I thought about it really hard I could probably remember how all the pieces are supposed to move, but I think that's about it. :-) I don't have much of an affinity for the gmae, I think, but I have heard from many who do, and while it's always seemed that there's something alluring there--something they feel strongly enough about that even I, in my ignorance, can feel a hint of it--I've never really had any idea what that might be. You've given me an idea for what that might be. You always write well, I think, but even so I like this one particularly.
