April notes

Friday the 1st of April I got up very early for work. Saturday the second I played in an on-line chess tournament sponsored by a local club, winning 1, losing 1, drawing 1 and losing 12 rating points in the process. Monday the 4th I played in an on-line chess tournament sponsored by the US Chess Federation. In an under-1450-rating tournament, I scored 5 out of 6 and finished in first place. I probably gained a few rating points that way.

Sparrow and I took a walk this evening in Allen Station Park. I like acorn squash with brown sugar.  The weather today was warm with a chilly wind. My attention has been directed to reports of Russia's unjust war upon Ukraine.
