walking, I mean, shopping

The cool weather persisted, but the real cold remains in the future. I shopped after work in Half-Priced Books and in Best Buy.

I beeline to the clearance books section in Half-Priced Books. Though none of its prices are unreasonable, I love the idea of finding something I enjoy between 1 and 3 dollars. I try to buy ebooks nowadays, except when the book has drawings, photos or how-to steps. But I do like the tactile book thing.

In the Best Buy I looked at mp3 players. The only model they carried was SanDisk (omitting any Apple products).Yet the SanDisk players did not appear to support .flac or .ogg, which I consider necessary.

My shopping got my steps up to the proper count, though I did not buy anything.

We ate hamburger patties for dinner. We watched Chicago PD on television. We talked about family and our dog.'

At lunch I walked in Bradfield Park.
