A hint of rain in the air turned into merely a tantalizing suggestion, like a wisp of a smile that promises everything and promises nothing. A House Finch sang in a bare tree. Fewer trees look bare now. The first Texas Bluebonnets popped up in bloom. Soon the Blue-Eyed Grass appears with its delicate look of blue and yellow.

Tonight we dined at Silver Thai. Our waiter did a great job. I ordered Garlic Gulf, shrimp with stir-fried vegetables. I picked up a Dallas Observer to see what was "on" in town. It showed a Ladyhawke show on Monday. My wife is quite partial to Ladyhawke. Sadly, though the tour had cancelled. We looked into getting tickets for an Abigail Washburn/Bela Fleck concert, but it was standing room only. We went for reserving "luxury lounger" movie tickets instead.

My breakfast was instant oatmeal. My lunch was three soft chicken tacos.

I am reading of the St. Croix Valley in Wisconsin, a place we almost visited, years ago, only to cancel due to one of our parents being ill at the time.

The Heavenly warmth of today gives way to a morning chill tomorrow.
