hail!

I woke up early for a 7:30 a.m. accountant's appointment. At 12:30 p.m., our firm wi-fi went down, along with everyone in our goodish-sized small city. I drove home to get more work done, which proved to be a good decision. Our office was not back up until 4, by which time I had done a lot of work. I felt badly for the accountants in the town in which my office is located, having their internet service down in tax season.

In the late afternoon, a massive hail storm hit our neighborhood, as if from out of the blue. We had had pleasant rain all morning, but this was 15 minutes of hail the size of solid marbles and hail the size of silver dollars. We seemed to sustain no damage. I had to comfort Beatrice.

In the afternoon and evening, I had work to do. Late at night we dined on hamburger patties on sandwich slims.

Yesterday I mixed dozens of audio samples up into a new song, as part of a Classwar Karaoke project. I enjoyed it, and we'll see if folks like the resulting drone-y song.

I have a vision of doing an entire EP based on little melodic samples and the software call Noiser.
