I got a lot of personal paperwork done this week. I hope I am on a roll. The weather here is like Heaven, and should last until at least Tuesday. I am deciding whether to go on a bird walk, take my own walk, drive somewhere rural, ride my bicycle, or what-have-you. I do not plan to sleep in.

I went to Heritage Park in Sachse at lunch. This is a little ballfield-and-sidewalk park. I like it because I see the bird called the Loggerhead Shrike there. Here's a picture, albeit a "Dark Knight" mode:

Note that tough-looking predator's beak.

I also saw lots of Scissor-tailed Flycatchers:

This evening, I got a message from my friend Thomas. His netlabel, weareallghosts, is releasing my album "Constellation Blackbird" this weekend.

Tonight we took Beatrice for a walk. Then at 8 p.m., I got on Skype for an interview with Doug and Tom for the Music Manumit Podcast. They, like me, are great supporters of Creative Commons. Doug is a lawyer, as am I, and Tom makes cool music with Lorenzo's Music. We talked about nothing and everything and I wish I were more entertaining but I had a good time.
