Jan. 3rd, 2015 11:21 pmMy sister and I sent Facebook messages to each other from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m., as she told me of business plans that she intended to follow.
Today my friend and I walked in a shopping mall, listened to a recording of metal-influenced anthemic rock by the Pretty Reckless, and ate Chinese food. We played "laser" mini-golf at an indoor place. A nice man at Promenade Coffee Shop made me a scratch chilled peppermint tea.
Afterward, I walked in Brockdale Park. I liked the ruby-crowned kinglet. After a moist, chilly morning,the sun shone. I drove home and took Beatrice for a walk. We saw birds, too.Beatrice loved getting out in the afternoon sun.
We met our friends Scott and Donna at the Istanbul Cafe. We had a fine meal of Turkish food. Then we went across the street to the Plano Angelika movie theater. We saw the Imitation Game, which was a fine movie indeed. We bid our friends adieu,and headed home for a quiet rest of the evening.
