cold and shawnee
Dec. 28th, 2014 07:00 pmThe morning was clear and cold. I put on layers of clothes and then my winter coat and cap. I drove to Brockdale Park and walked along its little ingress road, watching the birds. Then I went to Promenade Coffee Shop and had a hot chocolate.
I alternated in my noon television viewing between a Harry Potter movie and a sports contest. I threw Beatrice's stuffed carrot toy, which she fetched assiduously. Then I went to Weight Watchers. I was up 8/10ths of a pound. Then I drove to the Millstone Cafe, where I had a black forest ham sandwich on rye bread with tomato
soup.
I drove to Shawnee Park in Plano, where I walked while listening to ambient music by Phillip Wilkerson on my headphones. Then I drove home and relaxed. Now I am about to enter my Shawnee Park bird list on eBird.
