Truth and other procedures

Yesterday the blue skies brought with them very temperate weather. I watched my first dark-eyed junco of the season taking a bath in flowing culvert water. After work I drove to Elgin Robertson Park, where white pelicans swam and meadowlarks and brown-headed cowbirds roamed the open field. I went to the Garland Bar meeting where a district judge gave an inspiring talk about courtroom procedures and the search for truth. Last Sunday marked thirty years since my bar admission. I crossed the 4,000 word mark on my nanowrimo project. I have far to go.
