day tripping

I woke up in the pre-dawn. I drove to Love Field, making my flight with a full five minutes to spare. Upon arrival in Austin, I rode the Metro Flyer downtown. I walked on a concrete footpath near Guadulupe. I had two business meetings downtown. One involved a fine meal at a Cantina Laredo. I had not had Mexican food in weeks. Then I fly back to Dallas. I drove to my office and took another call or two. Then I headed home. My wife had picked me up salmon, turnips greens and fruit salad, which tasted great. She picked herself up a salad. We ate on our back patio. I got a good look at the little female hummingbird that visits each evening. She loves the firecracker flowers in our back yard.
