amateur drawing and bad news
Jul. 17th, 2014 08:53 pmToday the news brought the sad news that a rocket fired in the Ukraine shot down a Malaysian airliner. Madness. This kind of madness is so awful.
I also learned of the death of Johnny Winter. His Johnny Winter And live album impressed me when I was a teen. I never got to see him in concert, though I have seen his brother Edgar, a very different artist. I liked Johnny Winter's guitar style and the way he was true to his vision of his music pretty close to throughout his career.
The rain rolled in. We got 1.75" today. More may fall tonight.
I drew an image with inkscape today which came out even more amateur than usual. I suppose I should sit up when I digitally draw. Beatrice did not have to go to the pet lodge today. I think she enjoyed the break.
