Friday stew

Today bluebirds flew among the trees. The news tells of lives lost in a ferry sinking in South Korea. I feel badly for the victims, many of them in high school.

We went to Coconut Express for dinner. We had ishtu, a potato stew from kerala. We also had chicken tikka. When I walked the dog this evening, I saw cedar waxwings. I saw a yellow warbler in the woods. I did not know its species. Migrating warblers are a lovely mystery.
