dawn flights and bunny nest

Tuesday I got up at 4:00 in the morning to catch an early flight. My plane turned out to be a half-hour earlier than I believed. Through the kindness of a TSA agent who heard me say to myself "I'm not going to make it", I got through security on an expedited basis. I made my flight.

Wednesday I got up at 4:30 a.m. to catch yet another early flight. I was so happy that my hotel was walking distance from the Fresno airport. I landed by noon, and made it to my office by 1:30 p.m.

Last night we discovered that our dog had discovered a bunny nest in a raised garden pot in the back yard. We tried to cordon it off, to no avail. We kept her inside last night. This morning we moved the pot to the side of our house, outside the fenced area. We hope the bunnies' mother finds the new location. I hated to move the old location, but our dog was coming too close to getting at the bunnies. At least this way, there is some chance for them. The bunnies were cute--perhaps a few days old.
I read that they are in the nest for just 10 or 11 days. I hope they make it. I hope the mom finds the garden pot nearby, and keeps them safe.

I got a little family paperwork done this morning. I have lots of work to do at work, and more family paperwork to do over the next few days.
