I spent my chilly morning on a bird walk at nearby Connemara Nature Preserve. Here's my bird list: loggerhead shrike, brown creeper, Carolina chickadee, tufted titmouse, American crow, blue-winged teal, American kestrel, scissor-tailed flycatcher, eastern phoebe, Bell's vireo [a bit rare for here, a migrant from the north, passing through], ruby-crowned kinglet (an immigrant from Canada who winters here), downy woodpecker, red-bellied woodpecker, northern flicker, mourning dove, northern cardinal, turkey vulture, and others.
Weight Watchers went fine. I ate at Boston Market for lunch. I watched the local sports team narrowly lose a football game, but first I took a walk on the Bluebonnet Trail in Plano.
I took pictures of butterflies and saw a yellow biplane overhead.
