Today my young friend and I drove to Granbury, a lovely lake city south of Fort Worth. Downtown featured one of those festivals with lots of booths, but the items on sale at the booths did not interest us. We hit the road down to Glen Rose, where we perused dinosaur tracks at Dinosaur Valley State Park. I saw a Summer tanager bird there, as well as two lizards. The temperature was hot--90 F. by 9 a.m., and near 100 by 11:30. We dined on Chinese buffet and then went to Forever Young, the huge record store in Grand Prairie. I got a CD of Be Bop Deluxe live performances from 1976 and 1978. I enjoyed listening to this later this afternoon, after I dropped my friend off at his home.

Tonight I posted a ccmixter remix which is vaguely techno-without-danceability. I also worked on de-cluttering my art room--I am making progress. I donated 25 books to the local Friends of the Allen Public Library. I loved driving in some of north Texas' most lovely highways today, and look forward to Sunday and Monday on general principles.
