Today I attended church in the early morning. In the late morning, I went for a walk to the pond, and then on to the walk which intersects Exchange Parkway. I saw two hawks flying in a rich blue sky. Prior to seeing the hawks, I passed an immature great egret, which stared out at the pond, and then walked among some visiting ducks.




My wife is making her Swedish chili sauce, an annual ritual of ethnic tradition she observes assiduously, in a process filled with tomatoes and canning devices without number.
