quick lunchtime notes

I just noticed that October 31 is a Monday. I don't really celebrate that holiday, other than giving children candy, but for those who enjoy it, I mention the three-day-weekend-ask-for-time-off-ness of it all.

A quirky URL does pull the marketing oar, as people seen more apt to go to
a site called absurd music.info than a long and non-memorable string cite.

I finally made a new poetry submission, but managed to commit an "a/the" typo in the cover letter. I must always decide if I mean "a" or "the", thus avoiding putting both in for good measure.
