During our trip home, my mother mentioned that she would like us to get our portraits made, as we have not had portraits done in so very many years. My wife is a good photographer, and in the past we had had a portrait done by a magazine photographer she befriended during her magazine days. But as "timer" photography was out, and her photographer friend was in Mar Vista, 2400 miles away, we elected to instead set up a photo shoot at the local mall photo shop.
