I went in the cool, light morning drizzle to the Chisholm Trail just off Custer Road in Plano. The trees were filled with birdsong, while the little creek was filled with new rain. The sidewalks along the trail kept me from getting too damp. I'd forgotten to brush my hair or put on a cap before leaving the house, so I saw a sort of Sid and Nancy apparition in my rear view mirror. Fortunately, a stray Bahamas cap in my car allowed me to hike with ease.

In front of one yard, four muscovy ducks wandered, while a man with a fierce-looking but well-fed junkyard dog held him at bay to allow me to pass. I could not help noticing the dog's chain link collar, but the man was entirely amiable (the dog looked as though he had malice aforethought).

I wandered along the trail, and pondered how I find no choice than to be who I am, even though I find myself entirely odd. Then I returned to my car. I felt happy with myself, somehow.

I decided that it would be fun to try to auction my CD on ebay, so I wrote an advertisement to mock-proclaim its many mini-virtues to music fans world-wide. I set the hyperlink in this page because I find the ad amusing, but cognoscenti friends in the know can acquire my CD much more easily by dropping me an e mail.

Now I must look up the Stoneleigh P, to which I have not been in a decade.
