When I spent a summer during college in London,
the student cafeteria gave one a pound or two
credit. That bought a samosa, some golf chocolates, and other similar snack food.
I don't think I ever felt like I ate better than then....

Juxtapositions--meetings re: potential new patents, ferment of new ideas, finishing Art Attack, the book on avant garde art...great conclusion, amazing the way that art is subsumed by corporate culture, a bit too much reverence for punk, a bit too little folderol about the 'net; author's credential: PhD from NYU---why aren't art authors ever coal miners? Meanwhile, I'm wondering if our weather is calibrated to stay cooler and more rainy on Saturday and Sunday only. Next stop--Third Monday Trade Days in McKinney....

Third Monday Trades Day flea market in McKinney was a grand
combo of wrought iron, texana folk art, a Peruvian band
with the guitarist playing Stairway to Heaven, a parking lot full of pickup trucks, turkey legs and long corn dogs,
country western singers singing to tape, airplanes made of soda cans, wrought iron chickens, pet birds, puppies and rabbits, chainsaw artists carving bears, ammunition on sale, and the Graham Texas Lions Club flag, on sale for five dollars. I bought the 1952 National Wildlife Federation Conservation stamp book; the original owner
put the stamp for cougar in a tree slot and vice versa.
Is this ebay or mail art or something to frame or something to keep and look at?
