Hmm, it has been a few years since I last had laryngitis, but I recall it being a good three or four days before I could start talking again. I hope you recover your voice sooner. Glad to hear you are feeling better though.
Also, I'm glad you chose to work from home (even though you turned out not to be contagious). It frustrates me to no end that people who have the option of working from home don't take advantage of it when ill, so they just come into the office and spread their plague instead. I do understand the appeal of going into the office though. I much prefer it as well.
